Keinon Johnson is the National Director of Urban Promotions at Interscope Records, home to artist like Lady Gaga, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, U2 and Maroon 5. The Atlanta born, yet New York raised Johnson is a second generation music executive. Although a talented artist, spending time with his father inspired him to pursue a career in music. Johnson recently launched the Maven Brand, which strikes a balance back into the atmosphere with the Never Sold Dope t-shirts and sweatshirts. “The people that are most impressionable are our kids. If all they see is negativity, they begin to think that’s normalcy. Kids need to see different aspects of positivity and success.”
